The “Professor Pedro Valentim Marques” award has been established to recognize the best Term Paper of each course, chosen among the presented and approved ones during the presentation event.
All the submitted Term Papers will automatically be competing for the award.
After the event has been completed, each course coordinator will choose the best Term Paper considering the best evaluated ones by the examining boards. Additionally, there will be a pre-selection of the Term Papers based on the course average and adequacy to the MBA USP/Esalq formatting standards. Failure to comply with the Term Paper elaboration standards established by the MBA USP/Esalq program will result in the project being disqualified.
The winner selection will take into account criteria such as: use of methodologies and tools addressed during the course; technical quality (clear, objective, and coherent writing); content (language linearity, good literature review, objectivity, and organization); scientific contribution (relevant topic, innovation in the application of concepts, and overcoming gaps in knowledge) or contribution to continuing education and social benefit (relevant topic and innovation in the application of concepts); potential impacts (academic-scientific or social relevance, contribution to the scientific community or to society in a broader way, and practical application for problem solving and improvements).
The result will be published in the MBA USP/Esalq digital media (Website, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, MyClass). The award will be presented in the form of a recognition certificate along with a full scholarship for the winner (untransferable) to one of the MBA Distance Education courses offered by USP/Esalq, chosen by the student.
